Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to the play school and watching her mother work. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials when she was a kid. The year 1997 was the time she earned a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999, and during the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. They got engaged in 2009 and were married at an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of the show's popularity, Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
